Perimenopause & Beyond

Inspired by an old friend, I wanted to outline what menopause coaching is all about when you book a session with me. My goal is to help you feel good through food choices and supplements that support hormonal health. I am not the food police! Unless you want me to be… Whilst weight management is top of the list for some, others will recoil in fear at the thought of someone judging (I will not) or cracking the whip if something sweet passes your lips (I will – but only if you want me to!).
Hormonal wellness is complex, and I can create dietary tips and tweaks that you can sustain to support your symptom needs as well as offer advice on lifestyle habits that may be contributing to your symptom severity. The integration of HRT, supplements, dietary practices and self-care might be required to get you to how you want to be feeling. Through assessing your current practices, mood, symptoms, energy and diet, I can suggest priorities to get you to where you want to be. With menopause coaching, you are in charge of the pace and intensity of the support I can offer.
My own menopause journey has not been a consistent succession of ‘wins’. I have taken time to figure out what serves me, what I need to let go of (often reluctantly) and what I need to do more of. And sometimes, I still get it wrong, sometimes I choose to eat the cake/drink the wine/stay up late/skip my supplements/slouch on the couch! The difference here is that I make informed decisions about my health. I now know what will trigger any insomnia, mood changes, skin changes and energy dips for me. Sharing these is my passion as I know it will help you too.
